In Piano Pedagogy under the instruction of Laurent Boukobza at the University of Central Florida. Mistakenly diagnosed with tendinitis, Hannah realized this could not be the problem as the pain never improved or worsened according to the normal pattern of tendinitis.

After much trial and error, she pinpointed the problem to be strictly a result of muscle tension. Her first experience with yoga (also at age 18), had an immediate and drastic improvement on her muscle tension. Since then, Hannah has devoted her time to exploring alternative methods of relaxation and body-awareness for musicians. She was certified as a yoga teacher under the instruction of Yoga Master Edely Wallace in 2014. She has since discovered yoga to be beneficial not only in a physical sense, but also in helping one to know his true self, through a process of using physical postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), deep relaxation (yoga-nidra), and meditation. Hannah regularly teaches yoga classes to musicians around the world to help increase physical awareness, reduce tension, improve concentration, and reduce performance anxiety.
