My nostalgia run brought up memories of frustration when I'd tried to figure out how to open that door in Frosthold Fortress (it never opens), and the boredom of running through the vast empty spaces that seem to come more frequently at the end of the game. The voice acting is often terrible, but the main characters and the minstrel are well done.

I tried to hit everything the game offers over the course of these runs, but I still didn't manage it. For some reason I never saw the opening scenes about Darque or Prince Neidhart in the eight games I played on PCSX2, though I do remember seeing them on original hardware.
