Please tell me from where can I download KEIL uVISION 4 and otherolder. Without a valid serial number it is not possible to access any version of uVision than the latest one.

Previous versions of the tools used a Serial Number and an add-on disk for licensing - this Serial Number will not work in the newer version of the tools.

One user may install the tools on up to 2 of their machines. So you can use your PSN to get LICs on up to 2 computers. You may unlicense a computer to move the license to another computer. Unlicensing a computer frees up one of these seats. Ron Wedge There can be some confusion in Keil product names. Let's try to address them here since this thread is so popular. Keil Software was its own company. It was purchased by ARM, and now the software product line is called ArmKeil.

Even after the merger, we still support four different hardware architectures: ARM, C166, 8051, and 251. See: We have a different compiler for each architecture, but we use the same front-end aka GUI aka Integrated Development Environment (IDE) to call the compilers. We call our IDE µVision, also written as uVision.

It is pronounced Microvision. See: We have had major updates to the IDE, so we add a number at the end for each major change. Currently we are using µVision5. Before that, the tools use uVision4. Again, some people write it as uVision4. So it is not enough to say you want uVision, you have to say what architecture you want.
