Let me begin by saying I'm NOT into software piracy. I purchased the garmin mobile gps software when I first got my storm and really enjoy the program. Sadly, I also like installing the latest and greatest OS, hybrid OS, etc., and unlike others have not been successful in backing up the garmin software in a way that retains the product's activation.

This means that every time I do something to my phone software (install new os, wipe and reinstall, etc.) I have to call garmin to get the activation code again. This wasn't a huge deal until the last time I called when the tech said something to the effect 'I see you've called quite a few times for an activation code. Are you having phone issues?' He still gave me the code, but clearly the frequent activity on my account is sending up some red flags for them. Plus, it's just a pain to have to call every time I do something to get a new code! This said, if a keygen for the software exists (I have no clue if one does as I haven't searched yet). Would it be 'legal' for me to use since I've actually paid for the software?

If not, I'll just continue calling for my codes, but if the fact that I'm a legitimate owner of the software means anything in this regard, I may just have to search around to see if such a program exists. If someone knows how to fix this, i'd LOVE to know.Thats your issue right there. You are restoring a backup that was based on your old PIN. That's why you have to keep calling for a new code. You could try totally deleting the app, rebooting and then reinstalling it. This should marry the program to your current PIN.
