They send a con-artist out to your house to try to manipulate you into telling you that you are going to.

Last night we got the hard sell on a filtration/water softener unit from AquaPro Systems. To be honest, the idea of doing anything to our water wasn't even on my radar, even though we obviously have pretty hard water.

We initially agreed to what I found, after looking around a little on the internet, was a pretty outrageous price ($6990). I emailed last night after the salesman left and cancelled our order. They called me back this morning and dropped the price to $3990 (the specific model is their ).

Dan tentunya dengan requirements yang sesuai. Ohya, artikel ini akan selalu di update, jadi kalian bisa berkomentar jika ada request tentang game PC apapun. Pretty healthy profit margin there for the poor suckers that bite. They offer 6 years worth of soaps and other home products as incentive included in the price. Anyway, price aside for a moment, I haven't been able to find much on the internet about AquaPro, good or bad. They say they've been in business for 40 years so I would have expected to see something. I'm looking to remove chlorine, soften the water and filter out anything harmful that can be reasonably filtered out. If there are better options out there (Culligan, Kinetico), please share. Does anyone have any experience with AquaPro?

Is this an 'avoid at all costs' situation? Also, do any of these filters filter out pharmaceuticals that may have made their way into the water chain? I'm not seeing information on this at all but it's a big concern for me. From the description posted on the AquaPRO site the unit is bedded with carbon and softener resin. I don't recommend units that combine carbon and resin because the carbon must be replaced fairly frequently while resin lasts much longer.

To give you a price point you could buy separate high quality units--a backwashing carbon filter and a softener, complete and delivered to your home for ~$1200. If you have concerns about your water quality the first step is testing to determine what needs to be treated/removed. The second step is the selection of equipment/filters to do the job. So you need to either get the water info from your utility if you are on a public supply or have your private well water tested.

Based on the results you need to determine what you want to treat. Post back once you have done that and I expect someone here will be willing to try to help. Thanks biermech. The agreement says that I can mail in the bottom saying I want to cancel within three business days. This happened Friday night so if I have it postmarked tomorrow I think I should be good.

I plan to go to the post office tomorrow after the installers come. They are supposed to be here at 12:00. I do not plan on letting them install the equipment. I also plan on calling the 3 credit report agencies as well and put a freeze so they have to call me for an approval. These people are unbelievable. I got the paperwork to the post office.

When they came to install I said I was refusing the install. He got me on the phone with someone called Rick. I told him I did not want the equipment and I am canceling the agreement. He tried to talk me out of it. I told him I felt like the company was shady. I get off the phone with him and the installer told me that he could do better on the price, that he has units that have 'Fallen off the truck.'

This place is unbelievable. I also tried calling the number on the top of the agreement, Whole Home Environmental, LLC.

No one answers the phones. After two days and 5 messages later I got a call back. This gentleman said they were chosen to use their product on the show Extreme Home make overs.' I don't know. The entire experience just rubs me the wrong way. A salesman gave us his 3 hour sales pitch (which he originally said would be 30 mins) and offered us the stainless tank with a lifetime warranty for $8990 to start.

We continuously turned him down and so he kept dropping the price. At $5000 we agreed to it, but after thinking about it, we decided we didn't want it so I called to cancel the next morning. The lady said it was cancelled, however the installation guy showed up that evening. He was upset about his mileage and so he wanted me to talk to his manager. The manager dropped the price to $3550 to get it off the truck.
